WHY?
Running ragged, on the edge,
One more step, it's off the ledge,
Fall to earth with resounding thud,
And stain the ground with thine own blood!
Leave behind those who care
Because you feel they are not there,
Plagued by doubt you run for cover
And death awaits you like a lover.
The magnet of the swollen tide
Can no longer be denied,
You embrace the drop with no goodbye;
And your only dying thought is Why?
