Night FlutterFluffy chicks with claws and teeth
Arrest the soul from underneath,
Selecting options on a dare
And on our own we say a prayer.
Creeping through the night with vision
Bright of eye and dark ambition,
Soft of down and barbs a gleaming
The gentleness of death undreaming.
Sucking shadows of velvet night
Draw upon the beggars plight
And like the chicks with claws and teeth
Drag the soul down underneath.
Visiting the lands of fey
To seek some colour in the grey
Return again from night sojourn
So much is lost of what we learn.

Of a pot of gold or a tortured scream!
Angels dancing on a pin
Or alleyways of darkest sin!
Unicorns within a glade
Or goblets laced with dark nightshade.
If inspiration leaves a doubt
A thought will come from without.
Whether of truth or whether of fiction
I love to mess with contradiction.
Critics may say that all they find
Is the alphabet soup of my mind.
Well, don't shove your rules at the likes of me!
Our style is always flying free!
I'll mix up my rainbows & sex & violence,
For I've been given a Poetic Licence!

Wail of the Welsh DragonThe dragon bowed his head in pain,
He'd fought many a battle and not been slain,
Neither sword nor lance could end his reign,
But now his time was ending.

Life had been a simple thing,
Patrol his lands on the wing,
In the mountain stronghold he was King,
And no one dared to doubt it.

But now the nights seemed so cold
And his flame was not so bold
Even dragons do grow old,
And he'd never felt so weary.

For many a moon he'd not been out,
A subject the peasants talked about,
And though they all may run and shout,
In their way they loved him.

Yes, they may have fled and hid,
But cruelty was not his to bid,
He just did what drago

Photography / Transportation

This is a replica of the H.M.S. Endeavour. The ship that Captain Cook discovered Australia in.

This was taken at Sea World on Australia's Gold Coast.
You used to be able to go aboard and explore it, but it is no longer situated as seen in this photo.

At present Sea World have it moored out of the public area after having used it briefly in a daily pirate show.
Now it seems to have been abandoned; which is a shame.

If you make the photo bigger, you can see a couple of dolphins swimming near the stern of the ship.

Beautiful photo! I'm really sorry if such a wonderful ship has been abandoned, because in my opinion this ship is a symbol of Australia.

Thank you so much! You are right. It is sad. Hopefully they will not allow it to fall into disrepair. We have not been down for a few months, so maybe the situation has changed.
